Spatial Labs, a sub brand for Acer, commissioned IMP to film a case study for a brand new monitor technology in situ at the Bristol Eye Hospital in the UK. This new monitor tech allows Ophthalmologists to play back stereoscopic scans of patients eyes in real time glasses free. When a 'slit lamp' records a patients eye scan, it does so by recording an image for each eye. The new monitors assist with diagnosis, consultation and treatment and can play back recordings made in previous eras, offering fresh insight into old scans.
We filmed in an active Hospital under significant time and space pressure which gave the case study a very authentic aspect. They key talent, Mr Sunil Mamtora - FRCOphth, provided great insight into how the products are being adapted to use in the NHS and what that could meen for patients in the future.
The media was displayed on Acer's UK & Global social media earlier this year.
